Balie Lester

Hi, I’m Balie! I am a full-time missionary with YWAM South Dallas, and my passion is to see young people encounter Jesus and realize they are loved, seen, and called to so much more than the world tells them.

Here at YWAM South Dallas, I help lead our youth ministries and spend most of my time working with high school and college students. Each week I meet with students one-on-one, disciple them, pray with them, and walk through real-life challenges alongside them. Many come from single-parent homes or difficult family situations, and it’s an honor to create a safe space where they can process, heal, and grow.

We also run weekly youth gatherings, outreaches, and neighborhood events, where students get to worship, learn, and experience community. My heart is to see these young people become whole and confident—free from lies, rooted in truth, and bold in their faith.

More than anything, I want to see a generation rise up knowing their identity in Jesus, living lives surrendered to Him, and carrying His love into their families, schools, and the nations.
