Beth James
Beth has been serving in ministry in Estonia and Hungary since 2009 and currently teaches 1st grade at Great Grace International School (GGIS) in Budapest, where she has served since the spring of 2024. Through Christian education, she has the opportunity to invest in the lives of children from a variety of cultural backgrounds during a formative season of their lives.
Many students at GGIS experience frequent transitions as families move internationally for work, ministry, or other opportunities. Beth's passion is to create a classroom where students find peace, stability, and freedom amid change. She desires for each child to know they are deeply loved by God, valued by their community, and never alone—even when friendships, classmates, and circumstances change.
Beth's vision is to help students build meaningful relationships, feel secure in their identity, and discover that God has a purpose for their lives. Whether they are living in Hungary for a short season or preparing for what comes next, she wants them to understand that God is at work in their story and has a unique calling for their future.
By fostering a classroom environment marked by love, belonging, and faith, Beth hopes every student will experience God's care firsthand and grow in confidence as they learn, develop friendships, and navigate life's transitions.
