Today more than 2.4 billion people around the globe have never heard the name Jesus. While currently waiting for an open door, my heart is to pursue long term overseas missions to engage the unreached. As a Bible Education major in college, I want to reflect the light in the darkest and hardest of places, and share the gospel with those who have never heard. I want to help equip others with the skills to seek Wisdom all of their life, but not just for their personal gain as I once did. I want to teach them about the Hope that is offered to all, the Hope that only can be found in Jesus Christ. I want to come alongside new believers as they discover more of who their Savior is, and fall ever in love with Him. I want to walk beside global believers as they put their identity in Jesus, and find freedom in His name alone. I want to encourage them as they walk in His path, abide in the Vine, and seek His righteousness first. I want to help disciple the next generation as they begin to walk in the purpose and calling that God has in store of each one of their lives. I want to be a witness to the power of the Gospel as Jesus calls each and every one of us to surrender our own lives and worship Him, by picking up our cross and following Him to the ends of the Earth. Therefore, my prayer is that, ultimately, I will surrender my own will for His and share the Truth of the Gospel whether it be in the classroom, the mission field, or wherever else He may lead.
